What do these simple, yet complex words mean to you?

Nona:  What does Love mean to you?

Nikia:  Accepting yourself and others without putting boundaries on it. Love is very Active. The love that I give is a reflection of what I receive. When you come into contact with someone with positive energy, you can see it radiate from them and it immediately starts reflecting off of you like a mirror bouncing back and forth. That’s infectious. I’m in love with Stillness, it is something very precious to me. When I can actually become still, I am able to have clarity and it’s just me with my breath.

Nona:  What does Health mean to you?

Nikia:  For me health is spiritual. I believe what ever you ingest can radiate externally. By consuming toxic elements into your body, that is what you will be sending out to the world. But you have to be balanced, I am a Southerner and I do love food that is fried & sweet at times.  My true connection to health is meditation and dancing in my living room or I will do a juice cleanse for a few days to rebalance my body. I have learned to listen to when my body feels sluggish and I know what it needs to bring it back to health.

Nona:  What does Truth mean to you?

Nikia:  Being honest, even when it sucks. The truth doesn’t have to be harsh nor sugarcoated, but you can be truthful without being hurtful. Sometimes I feel men try to shield women and by doing so, they treat us like we are these delicate, breakable beings. Women can handle a lot of truth. There is something very liberating about knowing the truth. When it is given to you, you decide for yourself. I know I don't want to be in control of everything but I do like being in control of my own choices. When I am not given the necessary information in order to make an educated decision, that is very frustrating. This truth allows me to really know that sometimes you really just need to let go.  That makes sense to me…
